About Bermuda Careers Centre

Bermuda Careers Centre originated as a result of key individuals within the business community recognizing the need for current career advice to be collated and distributed within the schools. The Centre provides information to students to enable them to take full advantage of a broader spectrum of employment opportunities in both the local and international markets. The Progammes and Services provided by the Centre are not intended to duplicate or replace existing services of other organizations such as B.I.B.A, Employment and Training, etc. Rather, they are meant to ensure a meaningful collaboration between employers, schools, and the community.

It is imperative for Bermuda to meet the human resources needs of local and international business. Bermuda Careers Centre will take steps to ensure that all employment sectors have a pool of well-educated and trained young Bermudians from which to staff their organizations. Bermuda Careers Centre will be a pro-active link in providing information to counselors, students, employers and the community.

Not everyone wants to be a lawyer or a doctor, and here at the Bermuda Careers Centre, information on some of the most overlooked professions that are never even thought of, can be found. Bermuda needs people to fill these positions and Bermudians do have the ability. The Bermuda Careers Centre will aid Bermudians by showing them potential career paths, helping to define career goals, and providing the information on how to achieve them.
