Elroy R.C. Smith CEO/Programme Director
A born Bermudian Elroy R.C. Smith immigrated to the United States to attend broadcast school in Boston and became the Programme Director for that city’s WILD FM for over ten years. In 1993 Mr. Smith became the Programme Director for WGCI 107.5 FM, V103 WVAZ FM, and a dedicated Gospel AM station for Clear Channel, Chicago. Elroy has been the number one Programme Director for Clear Channel for the past twelve years. In 2003, Billboard Monitor named Mr. Smith as “Urban Programme Director of the Year.” In September 2005, Elroy was awarded the radio Grammy, the National Association of Broadcasters Marconi Award for urban radio station of the year at WGCI – Chicago. Still based in Chicago, Elroy is an equity partner in IIC and acts as Programme Director. During the 2005 Grammy Awards Ceremony, Alicia Keys thanked Mr. Smith for being the first station to play her single.

Glenn A. Blakeney MP JP – General Manager
Glenn Blakeney started his radio career with Elroy R.C. Smith at the Bermuda Broadcasting Company in the late 1970s. Mr. Blakeney has over twenty-eight years of broadcast experience, primarily at the Bermuda Broadcasting Company but also did stints with WOL AM in Washington DC. With over twenty-five years of promotion and event production experience, Mr. Blakeney spearheads IIC’s concert and production events including the Bermuda Idol. Mr. Blakeney was elected to the Bermuda House of Parliament in July, 2003.
R. Scott Pearman – Chief Operating Officer
R. Scott Pearman began his broadcasting career in 1987 as a reggae disc jockey for WRIU 93.5 FM in Kingston, Rhode Island. Scott worked for Cooper & Lybrand (Bermuda) now PriceWaterhouseCoopers, for two years as an Auditor before leaving for Michigan State University to pursue a Masters Degree in Human Resources & Labour Industrial Relations. After returning to Bermuda in 1995 Scott commenced work as the Employee & Labour Relations Manager at the Bermuda Hospitals Board where he was appointed Director of Human Resources in 2000. Scott serves as Chief Operating Officer for IIC and develops new business interests for the company.
